The Étoile Edit - 2nd November 2025

A new month already — I can't believe how fast time is passing?  November always feels like a gentle exhale after the whirl of October. The nights have drawn in properly now, the candles are flickering a little earlier, and there’s that unmistakable smell of bonfires in the air.

With Guy Fawkes Night just around the corner, I can already picture the skies lighting up in gold and silver — a perfect reflection of this week’s sparkle.

In the studio, I’ve been reaching for warm autumn tones and rich textures — pieces that pair beautifully with cosy knits and soft scarves. My current obsession? Mixed silver and gold stacks, inspired by the way firelight dances across metal.

I’ve been especially drawn to the rich burgundy tones of garnet lately — there’s something about the way it glows against gold that feels perfectly autumnal. The Gold Garnet Gemstone Stack looks beautiful paired with the Gold Signature Stack — a match made for this season’s warmth.

Lately, my wardrobe has been full of chocolate browns and a hint of animal print, so I’ve been alternating between my Smoky Quartz Gemstone Stack and Signature Stack in both gold and silver. I’ve also been reaching for Tiger’s Eye, which complements those deeper, earthy tones so beautifully.  There’s something so timeless about blending the two. 

Away from the bench, I’ve been leaning into a bit of self-care — slower mornings with coffee in hand, brisk walks under copper leaves, and not so quiet moments under a blanket watching the Autumn Rugby Series (we're a big rugby house!).

Next weekend we’re heading down to Cornwall to visit some of our favourite people — their home sits right by the beach, and I can’t wait for that sea-air reset. There’s something about the Cornish coast in November that feels beautifully wild and grounding — windswept walks, cosy cafés, and salt in the air. I’ll be packing a few of my go-to Étoile pieces, of course — simple layers that still catch the light, even on the greyest days. This trip, it’ll be all about my Angelite Gemstone Stack, paired with the Silver Signature Stack and a chunky Angelite Stack Builder — soft grey/blue tones that remind me of sea mist and winter skies.
