The Étoile Edit - 26th October 2025

Can you believe we’re already at the end of October?  This is one of my favourite weekends, it always feels like that shift between autumn and winter — the air crisper, the evenings darker, and the smell of wood fires lingering in the air.

And of course, it wouldn’t be the end of October without a little Hallowe’en magic! 🎃 Whether you’re out with little ones collecting treats, lighting a pumpkin or two and settling down for a late supper, or simply curling up with something sweet, it’s such a fun way to close out the month. We're big on pumpkins over here at the studio - I love seeing the flicker of candlelight in carved pumpkins as the nights draw in — there’s something so nostalgic about it (and I may have gone a little overboard on the little munchkins this year too 🤪).

I can't believe the clocks have gone back, gifting us an extra hour of rest (or sparkle ✨), and I, for one, am here for it!  I made the most of it with a cosy blanket on the sofa.

In the studio this week, I’ve been completely immersed in creating your orders — there's a lot of mixed metal going out to capture the magic of the season - think soft golden tones, delicate silver details, and a little shimmer perfect for festive gatherings.

When I’ve not at my bench making and packaging orders, I’ve been enjoying slow evenings at home with family,  catching up with friends, lighting candles (there's always a candle on here), and perfecting my Yorkshire pudding recipe (I think I’ve finally nailed the crispy-on-the-outside, fluffy-on-the-inside balance!).

It’s these small, comforting rituals that make this time of year so special, don’t you think? As the clocks fall back, I’ve also been planning ahead for something exciting — Black Friday!
